It's Legend that the monks of Capuchin were the originators of Cappuccino, and the drink was named after the robes and cowls of the habit that the monks wore. Tradition tells us that a properly prepared cappuccino or espresso and steamed milk leaves a brown ring along the rim of the cup much like the edge of the monk's cowl.

THE COFFEE TRAIL
Take the coffee route that offers the traveler a gift of colors. From the wonderful green coffee beans. To the varying shades of the guayacan trees. That matches the deep green of the mountains to make this a breathtaking sight. During this tour you will visit different Thematic Parks, focused in a culture, where coffee is planted, harvested, and then turned into the coffee we know. Panama by a global perspective produces a small amount of the world's coffee, The coffee they do produce however has a prominent place in the world market.
The coffee zone is located on its west. It's neighbor is the dormant Baru Volcano, which rises 3,475 meters above sea level and is located at the very center of Boquete, Volcan, and Renacimiento.

Day 1: Welcome
An agent from Dream Travel will welcome you at the International Airport and transfer you to the Hotel in Panama City
Day 2: Chiriqui/Boquete
Surrounded by the lush green slopes of the Chirqui Highlands and dominated by Panama's point, is the the volcano Baru, where we will find the little town of Boquete. Boquete's temperature is cool for Panama, It varies from 70 to 80 degrees F. With it's crystal clear rivers and streams that flow through the rocky valleys lined with wild flowers.
Your representative will be waiting for you in the lobby to meet you for your departure to Chiriqui. We are giving you 2 Options to travel to Chirqui. You may travel by land and view the beautiful landscape. (7Hours), or the other option is by plane, (1Hour) When you get to Chiriqui you will be taken to your hotel.
Day 3: Boquete Kotowa Coffee Farm
You will start your tour at 9AM. By Visiting the Kotowa Coffee Farm Plantation. Kotowa is one of the Best Coffee's from Panama, and gives us the privileged opportunity to visit their plantation and processing mill.
This tour is two and half hours long and will explain the whole process from the major indigenous Ngobe Bugle (Guaymi) collected on the coffee plantings until the final proofing of the coffee taste. The word "Kotowa" in native Guaymi native language means "Mountain".
You will tour the estate, the modern processing plant and ecologies; Kotowa and the oldest mill that still remains in place in Panama. This old mill has existed for nearly 100 years! and was built by the founder. Coffee Kowtows.
In this tour you will learn about caffeine, espresso, organic coffee, fair trade, and they will share with you their secrets in how to make a good cup of coffee.
The Tour ends in the romantic coffee cupping room in the old mill, where you will taste and cup the product of all the work and craftsmanship.
After the tour we break for lunch, we will return to Boquete by going to the banks of the Caldera River, Where you can see the beautiful landscapes. In downtown Boquette is where the Coffee Fair is held in January. You will tour the town, see and learn about the different plantations and the coffee they produce
Day 4: Boquette Manufacturer Coffee Ruiz

Today is another day to enjoy the spectacular views and some of the best coffee in the world. At coffee Ruiz they will explain the process of making coffee and the toasting, grinding and packaging of his fine coffee. Then we will taste their coffee's, with delicious snacks homemade from the area. You then can purchase some of their fine world's best coffee, in either grain or grounded to your specific request.
Day 5: Volcan /Renancimiento/Arte Cruz
Today we will take you to the town of Volcan, located on the southern slope of the volcano Baru, which reaches a height of (4921 feet). Where you will continue your coffee tour. You will learn and experience the region that will be the expanding it's coffee growth, Rio Sereno. Then we will introduce you to a special place. On the way to Volcan, coming from the Interamerican Highway, at the left side of the road surrounded by magnificent views of the mountains and valleys of the region, with a sign "Arte Cruz-Volcan Artsenias en madera", you will stop and visit the workplace of this exquisite wood handicrafter.
Meet the man Jose de la Cruz. Master cruz received his skills in several places in the world, mainly( in Italy)Rome.,Venice) and Central America (Honduras, Guatemala). Not only is this man an artist, he is also a passionate teacher. People from Volcan and other places in the province come to his workplace to receive lessons on handcrafting wood.
Janson Coffee House, This is one of the finest toasters for roasted coffee. You will see and taste a variety of Arabica coffee's. You will observe the planting and maintenance of the coffee crops At this farm you will see the processing of the coffee's "Cherry" as it is transformed into the coffee that you know. You will see the entire, wet, sun and drying process.
Hartmann Farms: The Finca Hartmann Farm is a small family owned business, owned and operated by Ratibor Hartmann and his sons and daughter. The land is used to grow one of the worlds best shade grown coffee. Located in Santa Clara, The Harvest at the Farms begin in in October and finishes in mid February. This farm has different activities all year. We will tour the plantation and tour the museum This farm's habitat has excellent sites for birding, hiking, and exploring. The Hartmann Family is very supportive of conservation and research. and often has Smithsonian Researchers living and working on their land.
Day 6: Panama City Transfer:
We will return to the city of Panama. To continue your tour of the City of Panama, with dinner, a folklore show, and a spectacular nocturnal tour of the city.
Day 7: Panama Canal/Meet the Embera and the famous Legend Antonio Zarco:
Today you will get to know some of the most important areas of Panama. With a Tour to the famous Panama Canal, and with a little luck you will see a vessel pass through its Maliflores Locks.
We will then continue your tour to enjoy an unforgettable cultural experience, You will meet the Embera. Living in the Chagres National Park. At the pier you will wait for your Embera guide who will pick you up in a traditional dugout canoe. You will then be taken for a tour of the area to see the areas natural beauty and learn of the flora and fauna. then onto your destination where you will be greeted by the Cacique who will welcome you. Then follow the path of the botanist, observing the different species of animals. Returning to Point Bohio Congress you will enjoy a traditional lunch. You will hear the story of our Legend, Antonio Zarco, followed by the presentation of dances and craft exhibits.
Day 8: Hotel Airport Transfer
According to the time of your flight, we will transfer you to the Tocumen International Airport.
